Hebrew Localization QA Tester/Proofreader

Responsibilities

• Review and refine localized Hebrew content to ensure it is natural, accurate, and polished.
• Check grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural accuracy.
• Execute test cases to identify localization bugs and functional issues within digital products.
• Write and report defects using internal bug-tracking systems and client-specific tools.
• Verify that reported bugs have been correctly resolved after fixes are implemented.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Hebrew linguistic issues, researching and resolving complex questions.
• Adhere to project-specific quality standards, style guides, trademarks, and glossaries.
• Occasionally translate content from English into Hebrew.

Requirements

• Native-level Hebrew fluency and deep cultural awareness of Israel.
• Valid US work visa permitting employment in the USA.
• Strong attention to detail and high organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow complex testing instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with occasional attendance at the Cupertino, CA office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional background in Marketing, Journalism, Copy Editing, or Writing.
• Experience in Translation, Proofreading, or Localization.
