Heavy Vehicle Workshop Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform technical maintenance interventions on heavy machinery, including vacuum trucks, tankers, and high-pressure pumps
• Repair electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Replace defective parts and verify equipment functionality after repairs
• Monitor and follow up on mandatory mechanical inspections
• Report anomalies and technical issues to the Workshop Manager
• Travel to job sites for emergency repairs when necessary

Requirements

• Technical degree such as BEP/CAP in automotive or mechanics, or BTS in electromechanics
• Experience working with heavy machinery (e.g., construction, agricultural, or military equipment)
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Methodical, organized, and hands-on approach to technical problem-solving
• Strong sense of industrial safety and rigor
