About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical operations and maintenance on heavy vehicles and trucks
- Conduct diagnostics on engines and transmissions
- Manage and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Perform maintenance on air brakes and replace various vehicle components
- Complete daily work reports and document equipment downtime
- Communicate equipment status and repair timelines to the operations supervisor
Requirements
- DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics, construction equipment mechanics, or agricultural mechanics
- Minimum of one year of experience in heavy truck repair and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of a P.E.P. (Preventive Maintenance Program) card
