Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical operations and maintenance on heavy vehicles and trucks
• Conduct diagnostics on engines and transmissions
• Manage and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
• Perform maintenance on air brakes and replace various vehicle components
• Complete daily work reports and document equipment downtime
• Communicate equipment status and repair timelines to the operations supervisor

Requirements

• DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics, construction equipment mechanics, or agricultural mechanics
• Minimum of one year of experience in heavy truck repair and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a P.E.P. (Preventive Maintenance Program) card
