Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and emission issues
• Troubleshoot computer and wiring issues, including Tier 4 emissions
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Tear down and rebuild equipment for mobilization
• Repair buckets and attachments and change out attachments as needed
• Prepare detailed work orders documenting all repairs
• Coordinate with projects to prioritize repairs
• Maintain and ensure all safety devices are operating properly
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience or training in a repair and maintenance shop
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience using diagnostic equipment
• Ability to perform acetylene and electric arc welding
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds
• Ability to work extended hours outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• CDL driver's license or willingness to obtain one with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computerized induction/ignition systems
• Experience with Tier 4 emissions systems
