Heavy Machinery Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, excavators, or other heavy machinery as needed
• Lift and transport metal materials using accessories such as magnets or grapples
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and yard staff
• Perform pre- and post-use inspections of heavy equipment, including general maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a loader in a heavy industrial setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to position and manipulate various materials precisely
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
• Familiarity with various crane accessories such as magnets or grapples

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction equipment operator license
