About the role

Responsibilities

  • Tear down, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial pumps and rotating equipment
  • Perform hydrostatic and performance testing using test stands and specialized tools
  • Operate overhead cranes, hoists, rigging, and material-handling equipment
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, work instructions, and test standards
  • Prep, paint, and package pumps and components for shipment
  • Support receiving, stocking, and fulfillment of parts and pump orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment following lockout/tagout procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy mechanical assembly or industrial maintenance/repair
  • Experience with pump, motor, gearbox, or rotating equipment repair
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications
  • Proficiency with precision tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, torque tools, and calipers
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in physically demanding environments
  • Basic computer skills for managing work orders and test documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating overhead cranes, hoists, or forklifts
  • Background in fabrication, welding, diesel, or industrial equipment
  • Experience working in tight assembly cells, enclosed spaces, or elevated positions
