Heavy Haul Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport over-dimensional and super loads across local and over-the-road routes
• Operate equipment including RGN, step deck, double/triple drop trailers, and multi-axle setups
• Work as part of a team-based heavy haul operation on complex loads
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
• Assist with assembly and inspection of trailers and hauling equipment
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and equipment checks

Requirements

• CDL Class A license
• Valid TWIC card, or ability to obtain one
• Experience with heavy haul or over-dimensional loads
• Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to inspect and maintain equipment
• Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-axle setups (9-axle, dual lane, etc.)
• Experience with hydraulic trailers or specialized hauling equipment
• Double/Triple endorsements
• Ability to operate supporting heavy equipment
