About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy equipment, crane, and rigger assessments to ensure operator competency
- Assist in developing written and practical assessments within areas of expertise
- Complete analysis of all assessments performed
- Provide mentoring responsibilities as required
- Assist with QA audits and policy/procedural reviews
- Uphold the company's HE Certifications Unit Policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Proven experience in training or assessment roles, preferably in construction
- Expertise in operating Backhoe, Bulldozer, Forklift, Wheel loader, Cranes, and similar machinery
- Valid certifications and licenses for operating heavy machinery
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and operational procedures
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to trainees
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
