About the role
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs on pumps, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Maintain daily truck inspection logs and keep work areas clean
- Communicate effectively with the service manager and via email
Requirements
- 2-3 years of shop or field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair experience
- Technical Certifications or an Associate’s Degree
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories
- Ability to work with limited supervision and independent judgment
- Must furnish tools suitable for heavy equipment repair
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in all weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Diesel Engines, Hydraulics, or Advanced Electronics
