Heavy Equipment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs on pumps, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Maintain daily truck inspection logs and keep work areas clean
• Communicate effectively with the service manager and via email

Requirements

• 2-3 years of shop or field heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair experience
• Technical Certifications or an Associate’s Degree
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories
• Ability to work with limited supervision and independent judgment
• Must furnish tools suitable for heavy equipment repair
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in all weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Diesel Engines, Hydraulics, or Advanced Electronics
