Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical shovels and wheel loaders in accordance with company health and safety rules
• Load customer trucks with biomass, concrete, crushed brick, and other construction materials
• Perform mechanical inspections and complete all required inspection forms
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on schedule, including oil changes and lubrication
• Maintain a clean work area and follow best practices for safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Professional studies in heavy equipment operation or equivalent experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position or operating heavy machinery
• Ability to perform mechanical inspections and demonstrate knowledge of preventive maintenance
• Strong sense of responsibility, good judgment, and autonomy
• Punctual, efficient, and possess good communication skills
