Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including Backhoe, Excavator, Boom Truck, and others as required
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations on job sites
• Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to accomplish project goals efficiently
• Load, move, and position equipment and materials precisely as per project specifications
• Report any defects or issues with equipment promptly to maintenance teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating Backhoe, Excavator, Boom Truck, and similar heavy equipment
• Valid operator certifications and licenses relevant to heavy machinery
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and instructions
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying environmental conditions
