About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform various types of maintenance on heavy equipment and machinery
- Repair equipment using tools, machine tools, and measuring instruments
- Diagnose and troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane systems
- Conduct oil changes, lubrication, tire replacements, hose repairs, and battery replacements
- Recondition and replace heavy equipment parts
- Operate and test equipment to ensure functionality
- Diagnose problem areas for significant wear or tear
- Produce detailed service reports and repair logs
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Willingness to learn and perform evolving maintenance tasks
- Ability to work as part of an operations team
