About the role

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and emission issues
  • Troubleshoot computer and wiring problems on heavy equipment
  • Conduct Tier 4 emissions diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Handle equipment teardowns and rebuilds for mobilization
  • Repair and swap out buckets and attachments
  • Document repairs and prepare comprehensive work orders
  • Collaborate with project teams to prioritize repairs
  • Uphold company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience or training in vehicle/construction equipment repair
  • Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Expertise in operating diagnostic equipment for hydraulic systems
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills (acetylene and electric arc)
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Willingness to travel and obtain a CDL driver's license
  • Clean driving record
