About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on heavy equipment and aerial lifts
- Use technology including laptops and tablets to create, assign, and monitor work orders
- Diagnose issues and determine root causes using real-time data
- Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
- Maintain electronic documentation of work performed in a timely manner
- Travel to customer job sites for field repairs and maintenance when required
- Assist in the training of lower level technicians
Requirements
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
- Must own tools applicable to the position
- High School diploma or Trade school certificate preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
