Heavy Equipment CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in compliance with state and federal transportation laws
• Transport loads safely and on time over required routes
• Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas
• Load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment as needed
• Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, and required paperwork
• Perform routine service checks and report maintenance malfunctions
• Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL or state-appropriate commercial/chauffeur's license
• Pass background check and drug testing per DOT regulations
• Pass DOT physical (trucks over 10k lbs)
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to travel frequently and work on-call as scheduled
• Safety-sensitive position requiring passing a 10-panel drug screen
