Heavy Equipment CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
• Transport heavy equipment loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes
• Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; assist with loading and unloading
• Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, and required delivery paperwork
• Perform routine service checks on trucks and report maintenance malfunctions
• Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns

Requirements

• Class A CDL or equivalent commercial driver's license appropriate for vehicle weight
• Pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screen
• At least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on-call schedules
