Heavy Duty Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot onboard computer systems, brakes, and other basic components
• Work on hydraulic and conventional cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and miscellaneous equipment
• Communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics
• Complete ProLift specific, regulatory, and identified equipment training

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or industrial maintenance technician
• Valid CDL with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret service/parts manuals, schematics, and technical manuals
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Willingness to work at heights, in varying weather, and occasional overtime/weekends
• HS diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Crane maintenance experience
• Factory technical training (EPIC/CCS, IC-1, LICCON, etc.)
• Prior knowledge of cranes, semi-trucks, trailers, and pickups
