About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot onboard computer systems, brakes, and other basic components
- Work on hydraulic and conventional cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, and miscellaneous equipment
- Communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics
- Complete ProLift specific, regulatory, and identified equipment training
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or industrial maintenance technician
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret service/parts manuals, schematics, and technical manuals
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to work at heights, in varying weather, and occasional overtime/weekends
- HS diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Crane maintenance experience
- Factory technical training (EPIC/CCS, IC-1, LICCON, etc.)
- Prior knowledge of cranes, semi-trucks, trailers, and pickups
