Heavy Duty Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain battery electric vehicles (BEV) and heavy diesel equipment
• Determine the nature and extent of repairs, including necessary methods, materials, and tools
• Plan and assign work tasks in collaboration with the supervisor to minimize production downtime
• Manage current and future parts procurement needs alongside the Management and Procurement teams
• Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are strictly applied by all employees
• Actively participate in and facilitate health and safety meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of heavy duty mechanical experience
• Active membership with the Ontario College of Trades

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP software
• Common Core certification
