Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a fleet of Mack and Volvo heavy multi-combination vehicles
• Maintain equipment in line with OEM specifications and compliance standards
• Diagnose faults accurately and safely
• Report emerging issues or faults to management
• Manage work orders and respond to driver and workshop requests
• Complete documentation and input data accurately into systems

Requirements

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles and/or trailers
• C Class or HR Driver's Licence
• Experience in heavy vehicle inspections and electrical repairs
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with Volvo and Mack vehicles
• Heavy vehicle authorised examiner certification
