Heavy Duty Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Clean hard floor surfaces and perform carpet extraction
• Clean surfaces requiring ladder use
• Collect and remove garbage from drop points to a compactor
• Clean offices, dust, vacuum, and remove garbage
• Detail clean stairwells and elevators
• Wash large floor surfaces using mops or walk-behind machines
• Wipe high-level ledges and windowsills
• Clean washrooms, showers, and locker rooms multiple times daily
• Transport cleaning machinery between floors and work areas

Requirements

• 6 months or more of commercial building cleaning experience
• Ability to lift between 25-30 lbs
• Ability to obtain a clear criminal record check through Waterloo Regional Police
• Willingness to work independently or as part of a team
• Availability for weekend shifts and on-call coverage for sick days or vacations
