Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy diesel vehicles, particularly trucks and trailers
• Ensure all activities are completed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the service team to provide exceptional customer service and technical support

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, focusing on trucks and trailers
• Minimum of two years post-apprenticeship experience in a related field
• Relevant trade qualification in heavy diesel mechanics or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with OEM standards and dealership protocols
• Completion of VETASSESS Skills Assessment for international candidates
• English language proficiency (IELTS or similar) for international applicants
