Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and other major repairs as needed
• Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet client deadlines
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates and recommendations
• Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with Isuzu trucks
• Experience working with ISUZU vehicles is highly desirable
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license
