Heavy Assembler

Responsibilities

• Utilize mechanical fastening techniques including bolts, nuts, and hucks
• Apply appropriate torque sequences and values according to certification standards
• Use hand tools to bend or form various parts
• Read and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks
• Operate overhead cranes following certification requirements
• Perform tack welding as needed
• Adhere to all safety rules and practices and participate in safety committees or initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical fastening
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with overhead crane operation
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the rail or steel manufacturing industry
