About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, implement, and troubleshoot complex IT networks and patient monitoring equipment in clinical environments.
- Provide technical recommendations to suit customer requirements and support the transition to customer-focused solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, networking, and mechanical problems during system implementations.
- Collaborate with regional work teams, including clinical, sales, and service partners, to coordinate project resources.
- Perform administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and preventative maintenance documentation.
- Travel approximately 70% across the specified geography, including daily driving and occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT technologies or the electronics industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time within the Atlanta, GA region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a field or hospital-based service environment.
- Hands-on experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators.
