About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of healthcare projects valued over $100M, including renovations, maintenance, and new builds
  • Develop strategic conceptual programs consistent with proposed schedules and budgets in concert with clients
  • Assemble project teams by preparing and administering RFPs, making award recommendations, and negotiating contracts
  • Provide day-to-day project oversight and communication to ensure alignment with client goals and priorities
  • Review designs for adherence to client schedules, budgets, logistics, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, track, update, and forecast project schedules and budgets throughout all project phases
  • Administer all contracts and invoices on behalf of the client
  • Coordinate commissioning and financial close-out efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in a related field
  • Proven experience as an Owner’s Representative in healthcare sector project management
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Strong understanding of preconstruction, project development, and contract negotiation
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and scheduling software
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating Certificate of Need and New York State Article 28 approval processes
