About the role
Responsibilities
- Review and update all hospital engineering and maintenance policies, programs, and practices
- Plan and direct the work of the facilities and quarters maintenance department
- Provide oversight and leadership to maintenance staff
- Prepare Request for Purchase packets and develop Statements of Work for new contracts
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including Nuvolo
- Perform full review of safety and life safety equipment inventory
- Provide on-site oversight of existing and new construction projects
- Develop and implement technical and safety training plans for maintenance staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a hospital facility manager
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including rooftops and boiler rooms
Preferred Qualifications
- American Society of Healthcare Engineers Certified Hospital Facility Manager certification
