Healthcare Facility Manager

Responsibilities

• Review and update all hospital engineering and maintenance policies, programs, and practices
• Plan and direct the work of the facilities and quarters maintenance department
• Provide oversight and leadership to maintenance staff
• Prepare Request for Purchase packets and develop Statements of Work for new contracts
• Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including Nuvolo
• Perform full review of safety and life safety equipment inventory
• Provide on-site oversight of existing and new construction projects
• Develop and implement technical and safety training plans for maintenance staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a hospital facility manager
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions including rooftops and boiler rooms

Preferred Qualifications

• American Society of Healthcare Engineers Certified Hospital Facility Manager certification
