Healthcare Consulting Manager - Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to streamline procurement, inventory management, and distribution processes for medical supplies and equipment.
• Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
• Manage complex multi-workstream performance improvement projects and oversee the work of junior team members.
• Synthesize complex data sets to implement recommendations that result in measurable performance improvement and organizational change.
• Collaborate with client counterparts to understand business challenges and adapt implementation methodologies to align with objectives.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, providing feedback and professional development through performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6-8 years of consulting or healthcare operations experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong data analytics and critical thinking skills.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Ability to travel based on client or project needs (average travel is less than 50% annually).
• US Work Authorization required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a matrixed organization.
• Relevant hospital operations experience focusing on process re-engineering or performance improvement.
• Project leadership experience within a consulting firm setting focused on cost of care or supply chain services.
• Expertise in managing cost structures and operational workflows within post-acute settings.
