Healthcare Assistant

Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments, including follow-ups and rescheduling
• Address patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person with accurate information
• Assist physicians and healthcare staff with administrative tasks and document preparation
• Manage clinic correspondence and ensure office supplies and equipment are functional
• Coordinate with laboratory, pharmacy, and imaging departments to streamline services
• Maintain medical records and conduct clinical questionnaires
• Adhere to all clinic policies, infection control protocols, and UAE healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in healthcare administration, medical assisting, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinic workflows
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR software and healthcare management systems
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
