Healthcare Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to residents to ensure they enjoy their daily lives
• Assist residents with daily living activities, including food and drink support
• Follow person-centered care plans to meet individual resident expectations
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
• Maintain high standards of care and support within the nursing home environment

Requirements

• A can-do approach to tasks and responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills
• High levels of empathy and compassion
• Experience caring for older people is preferred, but not essential as training is provided
