Healthcare Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and comfort, while maintaining dignity and respect
• Observe and report changes in patients’ behavior, mood, or physical condition to the clinical team in a timely and accurate manner
• Support the implementation of care plans under the guidance of nurses and mental health professionals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment in accordance with infection control, safety, and mental health care standards
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients, promoting a calm and supportive care environment
• Adhere to confidentiality, ethical standards, and organizational policies while supporting patient rights and well-being

Requirements

• High school certificate or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare or mental health support roles
• Basic knowledge of patient care, safety practices, and infection control
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare Aide or Nursing Assistant certification
