Health Systems Intern

Responsibilities

• Support desk reviews, evidence synthesis, and background research on health financing, service delivery, and strategic planning
• Assist with data collection, cleaning, basic analysis, and visualization using administrative or survey data
• Contribute to analytical notes, short briefs, presentations, and meeting summaries for policy dialogue
• Track and summarize health sector reform developments and stakeholder inputs
• Support the preparation and organization of consultations, workshops, and meetings with government and development partners
• Review draft materials for clarity, consistency, and formatting
• Organize references, working files, and datasets for team knowledge management

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, a postgraduate (Master’s/PhD) program
• Academic background in public health, health policy, economics, public administration, social sciences, data analytics, or international development
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data visualization or analytical tools such as Power BI, Stata, R, or Python
