About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop working relationships with key decision makers within targeted IDNs, including clinical, administrative, pharmacy, and C-Suite executives.
- Educate stakeholders on the formulary and decision-making processes to ensure patient access to Sun's branded oncology, immunology, and dermatology products.
- Analyze brand opportunities within targeted accounts and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize utilization and pull-through.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans in cooperation with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Pricing teams.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key account personnel.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Medicare Part B, 340B, and commercial reimbursement processes.
- Manage significant travel to assigned IDN accounts and attend field-based meetings and trainings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- 3+ years of account management or Managed Markets experience.
- Proven experience working with large payers, health plans, PBMs, or physician medical groups.
- Strong understanding of payer policy infrastructure, payment methodologies, and coverage trends.
- Expert knowledge of Medicare Part B and 340B programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead highly matrixed, cross-functional work teams.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Prior experience engaging with director and senior-level executives within the Southeast geographical area.
