Health Solutions Senior Actuarial Consultant

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting including benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, and pricing strategy.
• Provide actuarial client leadership for targeted clients and prospects to meet broader business objectives.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and participate in strategic discussions.
• Lead actuarial client teams by sharing goals, measuring results, and identifying process improvements.
• Provide technical coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback to team members.
• Manage large actuarial projects and deliverables, providing ultimate sign-off on results.
• Contribute to practice improvement through national model development and maintenance.

Requirements

• ASA/FSA designation.
• 6+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Proven project management experience.
• Experience in people management and mentoring staff.
• Strong skills in business communications, risk management, and client relationship management.
