Health Science Program Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Health Sciences program, including administration and faculty leadership.
• Drive curriculum revisions and lead the application process for new focused minor accreditation.
• Develop clinical year course curricula and establish program policies related to clinical training.
• Identify and develop collaborative relationships with clinical facilities for student internships.
• Supervise student recruitment, admissions, and retention activities.
• Direct and oversee student advising and counseling services.
• Provide leadership to program faculty and encourage a collegial environment focused on teaching, research, and service.
• Teach courses within areas of academic expertise.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Health Science related higher education.
• Proven knowledge of programmatic accreditation procedures.
• Experience in curriculum planning and development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in recruiting and retaining highly qualified undergraduate students, particularly those from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of modern educational methods and academic administration.
