Health & Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE Management Systems (ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015)
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal HSE policies
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards
• Participate in risk assessments and review Permit to Work (PTW) documents
• Monitor proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Support incident investigations and conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
• Deliver HSE training, including site inductions and toolbox talks
• Participate in emergency preparedness drills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related technical field
• 3 to 5 years of dedicated HSE experience in industrial, port, or marine environments
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 documentation
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and incident reporting
• Professional HSE certification (NIOSH, IOSH, or OSHA) highly preferred
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management tools
