Health & Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement and supervise health, safety, and firefighting plans, policies, and procedures at the Sokhna Plant.
• Manage risk management administration, including data entry, validation, and system follow-up with area owners.
• Develop driving risk assessments (SWI) and ensure all identified risks are mitigated and controlled.
• Oversee the training, assessment, and record-keeping for all contractor H&S officers and workers.
• Generate periodic trend and analysis reports for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Ensure the availability and correct implementation of site-specific PPE for employees and contractors.
• Conduct emergency drills and maintain action trackers to ensure all follow-up items are closed.
• Develop layouts for fire equipment and exits within the plant.
• Participate in kiln shutdowns to identify hazards and control risks related to shutdown activities.
• Act as an authorized permit issuer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 2-3 years of HSE experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in field HSE operations.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and mobile applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cement, aggregates, and concrete industry operations.
• Relevant HSE technical certifications.
