Health & Safety Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Promote a sustainable "Safety First" culture across all project levels
• Support the safe planning and implementation of large-scale projects in compliance with national and corporate H&S standards
• Advise project management, site management, and contractors on all Health & Safety matters
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve H&S concepts for major projects
• Conduct hazard assessments, risk analyses, and safety inspections on construction sites
• Organize safety briefings, training sessions, and workshops for employees and external companies
• Monitor compliance with H&S guidelines, legal regulations, and internal company standards
• Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety-related incidents to ensure continuous improvement
• Maintain H&S documentation, create reports, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Completed degree or vocational training as a Safety Engineer or Safety Specialist
• Proven experience in project management within the cement industry or a comparable industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of project management, ideally within international or cross-cluster project structures
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken); French or Italian is a plus
• Communicative, team-oriented, and customer-focused personality with a passion for Health & Safety
