Health & Safety Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist departments with risk analyses, improvement proposals, and the coordination of safety actions
• Conduct safety walkthroughs and follow up on results
• Ensure compliance with safety rules through toolbox meetings, training sessions, and communication campaigns
• Schedule medical examinations and mandatory inspections
• Monitor reports via the Single Safe Action Plan
• Investigate safety incidents and determine necessary improvement actions
• Provide safety and health advice to managers and employees
• Perform safety checks during contractor activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a general or technical field, or equivalent experience
• Prevention Advisor Level II certificate or the ambition to obtain it
• Experience working in a production environment with technical knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate respectfully and clearly with colleagues
• Self-starter with strong progress monitoring skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to easily learn new applications such as SAP or Canva
