Health & Safety Officer

Responsibilities

• Assist departments with risk analyses, improvement proposals, and the coordination of safety actions
• Conduct safety walkthroughs and follow up on results
• Promote safety compliance through toolbox meetings, training sessions, and communication campaigns
• Schedule medical examinations and mandatory inspections
• Investigate safety incidents and determine necessary corrective actions
• Advise managers and employees on health and safety matters
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a general or technical field, or equivalent experience
• Prevention Advisor Level II certificate or the ambition to obtain it
• Experience working within a production environment
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of SAP or Canva is a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues
