Health & Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety guidance to the project team ensuring compliance with Mexican regulations and client requirements
• Produce, review, and approve HSE plans
• Review and assure legal compliance including risk assessments, legal audits, and incident investigations
• Plan and develop strategic work systems around HS&E guidelines
• Support site safety teams with reporting regimes and Health and Safety statistics
• Implement and monitor corporate HSE policies and monitor KPIs
• Implement and review Client global safety policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related to H&SE
• Qualified Health and Safety Professional with specialized courses in Mexican occupational health and safety regulations
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in construction projects
• OSHA certification
• BOLT registered and trained
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• In-depth understanding of Mexico Health and Safety legislation

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification
• Experience with mixed-use buildings, shopping centers, or industrial greenfield construction
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
