Health & Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of construction efforts and progress reporting to internal teams and stakeholders
• Manage contracts and budgets for assigned direct contracts
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, and resource allocation
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
• Identify and address quality, safety, health, and environmental issues
• Proactively manage construction project execution and HES risks
• Review drawings against project requirements and assess constructability
• Create monthly, daily, and event reporting for the construction team
• Coordinate the RFI and submittal process
• Lead weekly safety meetings and conduct daily job site audits
• Create KPI reports to track trends and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience implementing and monitoring project HSE or contractor site safety plans
• Proficiency in Procore, SafetyCulture, or similar construction management platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors
• CCM certification
• OSHA 30, OSHA 500/510, or BCSP credentials (OHST, ASP, CSP, or CHST)
• CPR certification
