Health & Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and supervisors to foster a 'Safety First' mindset and encourage best health and safety practices
• Ensure full compliance with provincial, federal, and ROCKWOOL Health & Safety standards
• Establish and implement a Health & Safety management system in accordance with Group standards
• Manage all work-related claims, including modified work and return-to-work programs
• Perform safety audits, inspections, and evaluations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead the Incident Investigation process and follow up on all preventative measures
• Co-Chair the site Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)
• Provide weekly reporting on Health and Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of professional Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing setting
• Robust understanding of Federal, Provincial, and local health and safety regulations
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
• Experience in stakeholder management and coordinating with regional or group functions
