Health & Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and coordinate the policies, procedures, and staff of the Health & Safety Unit
• Manage, mentor, and develop Health & Safety staff
• Support the development of EHS policies and implement compliance tracking programs
• Coordinate regulatory submittals, permit applications, and citation rebuttals
• Lead audit activities and remediation of significant findings
• Maintain emergency response procedures and lead accident investigations
• Drive continuous improvement in accident and incident rates
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification efforts
• Lead plant safety committees

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of EHS professional experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of engineering science, chemistry, and government regulations
• Ability to move frequently throughout a manufacturing plant

Preferred Qualifications

• Occupational safety and health major
• Advanced degree in a related field
