Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and monitoring of compliance with local HSE regulations and company policies
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs
• Identify and mitigate workplace hazards and environmental risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a proactive safety culture
• Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities
• Drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or apprenticeship in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in HSE roles, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards
• Experience in risk assessments and incident investigations
• Proficiency in HSE documentation and reporting
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Substantial Swedish language skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, high-tech, or start-up environments
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or other HSE management systems
