Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop general method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) for all project activities
• Conduct regular hazard reviews, safety audits, and site inspections to ensure compliance
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nordic HSE legislation and best practices
• Organize and deliver HSE training sessions, safety inductions, and toolbox talks
• Manage PPE availability and ensure First Aid kits are regularly inspected
• Monitor and report on HSE-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Liaise with external regulators and local authorities during inspections

Requirements

• Recognized degree or qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
• 3+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience on construction sites
• Experience in Data Centre construction is advantageous
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and TEAMS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Portuguese or Polish
