Health Safety Environment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field inspections and audits to ensure adherence to internal safety protocols, client requirements, and legal regulations
• Drive safety initiatives within the Field Service Operations team
• Monitor and analyze safety reports, including hazards and near misses
• Lead or support investigations of field incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Develop and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and targeted training sessions (e.g., PPE use, hazard identification, work-at-height)
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident reports
• Support pre-job risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for high-risk tasks
• Ensure field teams have appropriate, well-maintained PPE and are equipped for emergency response
• Observe and analyze driving behaviors of Field Service Engineers to provide necessary support and training

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field
• HSE certification or relevant qualification such as ADIS or NEBOSH
• 8-12 years of experience in field safety roles, preferably in technical or engineering service industries
• Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety reporting tools
• Ability to travel frequently (approximately 50%) to field sites and customer locations across India
