About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintenance of Health and Safety systems according to established policies and procedures
  • Coordinate safety meetings, including minute-taking and distribution
  • Report incidents, near misses, hazards, and site KPIs using Crystal
  • Implement and facilitate Global OI Initiatives such as Safe Start, Stellar, and Safety Month
  • Ensure applicable OI training is scheduled and conducted
  • Ensure site implementation of OIMS and local health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements
  • Perform OI inspections and facilitate site-level Risk Assessments
  • Control and maintain system documents
  • Investigate and clear internal audit findings
  • Coordinate and process nonconforming and improvement request issues

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification or appropriate training in OHS
  • Minimum 1 year of appropriate experience
  • Working knowledge of OHSA and regulations
  • Experience facilitating and conducting training
  • Demonstrated competency in hazard identification and risk assessment
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English
  • Analytical and quality-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ISO 17025 management systems
