Health & Safety Analyst

Responsibilities

• Implement HSMS procedures
• Ensure H&S strategy deployment for laboratories
• Conduct periodic safety inspections
• Supervise, train, and reinforce safe behaviors
• Verify safe conditions of laboratories, machinery, and equipment
• Perform risk and environmental aspect assessments, identifying hazards and implementing controls
• Execute leadership walks and inspections, documenting findings and following up on actions
• Participate in incident investigations from reporting to closure
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for occupational health, safety, and environment (ISO 14001/45001)
• Manage and track EHS performance indicators for continuous improvement
• Coordinate emergency drill planning and execution
• Promote a prevention culture regarding health, safety, and environment

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Environmental Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mining operations and/or chemical handling
• At least 5 years in similar positions
• English level B2 preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI preferred
• Knowledge of government platforms
• Availability to travel between Hermosillo and Arizpe, Sonora
