About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on health projects, focusing on team leadership and mentoring
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning
  • Lead user group meetings to collect program needs and assess space utilization
  • Communicate planning concepts to project teams and owners through graphic and written reports
  • Work with architectural designers to optimize plans that meet owner goals
  • Lead the development, modification, and review of planning concepts and solutions
  • Develop architectural drawings and specifications for construction documentation
  • Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process
  • Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects
  • Maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Provide guidance and advice to other designers and project leaders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience
  • Previous experience as a subject matter expert on large, complex health market projects
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements
  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
  • Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills
  • Ability to lead less experienced team members and manage client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • US licensure or registration
  • LEED accreditation
