Health Policy Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of health policy, legislation, and regulatory developments
• Prepare policy papers, reports, recommendations, and briefing documents
• Monitor emerging trends and issues across healthcare and public health sectors
• Support evidence-based policy development and organisational strategy
• Assist with advocacy initiatives and policy influence strategies
• Coordinate engagement activities including meetings with policymakers and stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, advocacy groups, and community partners
• Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of clinical governance and policy projects
• Develop presentations, educational resources, and communication materials

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Health Administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in health policy, advocacy, project coordination, or a similar area
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to translate complex information into practical insights
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with diverse stakeholders
